Adam Sandler celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary with his wife Jackie Sandler on Monday.
The 59-year-old actor wrote a message for her in the sky by way of a skywriter as the longtime couple marked the special occasion.
He also took to Instagram on the same day to share a photo of the surprise he left in the sky just above where they were, presumably their Pacific Palisades home in Southern California.
The floating letters in the sky marked the number of years they had been married and a heart drawn in between their initials, reading: '23 A [loves] J.'
'Happy 23rd anniversary to my sweetheart. Love you forever,' he wrote in the caption of his post.
The grand gesture and their anniversary come shortly after Sandler was accused of 'embarrassing' his wife at her glitzy red carpet event in Los Angeles in late May.

About a month ago, the Grown Ups actor set the internet ablaze as critics called him out for 'embarrassing' his wife with the casual outfit he wore to support Jackie at the premiere of Office Romance.
Sandler's wife stars in Netflix's new romantic comedy Office Romance, starring Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.
For the premiere, she wore a black, sparkly minidress with a keyhole cutout near the neckline.
As for Sandler, he repped the New York Knicks in an oversize, orange hoodie paired with bright blue sweatpants.
Following the premiere, the couple seemingly attempted to shut down rumors as they reminded fans they are both Knicks fans by attending two games at Madison Square Garden.
The Sandlers were photographed sitting courtside at the May 31 and June 10 games before the New York team would go on to clinch the championship, defeating the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5.
The comedian's signature look is his casual attire, even at high-profile events.
However, on the press tour for his movie Jay Kelly, he made different sartorial choices and stepped out in suits to promote the film alongside costar George Clooney.

About which parts of a suit he doesn't like, he answered by pointing out every aspect.
'I can't stand the pants,' he said at the time. 'I can't stand the jackets, the stupid shirts. Hate them all.'
Despite the divided fan reaction to his casualwear at Jackie's Office Romance premiere, however, the pair proved the matter was of no significance to their lasting bond and marriage.
The couple, who met in 1999, have been together for 27 years total and share daughters Sadie, 20, and 17-year-old Sunny.
Adam and Jackie put on a cozy display in recent weeks while supporting the Knicks together at two of the NBA Finals games following the movie premiere.
