Xbox Sending Free Store Credit To Players, You Can Claim Now
Xbox is currently giving select players access to free store credit and a few other nice surprises as part of a (relatively) new scheme. Back in September 2025, Xbox officially added a new feature called "Offers and Credits", which attempts to coax people into making purchases by offering free gift cards and other benefits. A bit like Microsoft Rewards, but not quite as annoying.
Now, players who purchased Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition between January 22 and May 18 are receiving $5 store credit and four car vouchers which, as I'm sure you can imagine, are to be exchanged for in-game cars.
The full terms and conditions are as follows:
"Offer valid for purchases in Microsoft Store online from 12:00 am PST on January 22, 2026 to 11:59 PM EST on May 18, 2026 while supplies last in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, and the United Kingdom."
"Customers who purchase Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition or Forza Horizon 6 Premium Upgrade Bundle on Microsoft Stores will also receive a promotional digital Xbox gift card and a Forza Horizon 6 Car Voucher 4."
As mentioned over on Reddit, not everyone who made the purchase within this window has received a notification, so gamers are being urged to check their profiles. You can find and redeem the rewards by opening the Microsoft Store, navigating to your profile, and then selecting "offers & credits".
Gamers who pre-order Gears of War E-Day can also pick up free store credit as a bonus, while players of Sea of Thieves and 007 First Light were treated to similar rewards. It's unclear how much longer this rewards scheme will stick around, so be sure to take advantage of it while you can. It's worth noting nothing like this has been announced for the upcoming Fable yet, but that's still a fair way off.
We gave Forza Horizon 6 an 8/10 in our review earlier this year, writing: "Most of the game's true depth will be lost on those who aren't gearheads interested in fine-tuning their cars. Exceptionally satisfying driving mechanics still carry the series, but they're beginning to be burdened by bland ancillary systems."
